Unfortunately, Daniel, you can’t win this award, but props for putting up such a huge number, we’ve never seen it get so high! I’m positive it’s because you’re getting poached on the leaderboard, haha.

Car of the Week: Muttaqun mo’min dos Malê, with a very eclectic and unique looking M3. I dig the domo-kun and Jake’s girlfriend’s garter! Unfortunately, he moved to an S5 very recently, so this sweet M3 will be lost in the servers forever. But still, props!

This was a tough poll but when it came down to it, I had to go for the ferrari and MCoupe. M Coupe because i love BMW and ferrari because it is the lightest and probably has the most potential out of the other 3 I mean, lamborghini is flautning a weight of approx 3400 where the SL65 is putting down a whopping 4100 lbs and the ferrari is chillin at 2775. DBS is a nice car but it can’t keep up.
And taking over the S5 over the M3? Ew.

Yeah I was torn about how to vote…I honestly don’t remember how I voted for the high end euro. The problem there is the lack of aftermarket options to push them even higher.

Just a suggestion here, but, you guys should be able to make the poll so that you could vote only for what YOU want to vote. Personally, I don’t think its fair if a car, or whatever, wins a poll only cause people HAD to vote and decided to guess/”eene meene miny mo” to vote just so that they could submit what they really wanted. I only wanted to vote for American car and chose Dragracing (which it was multiple votes cause I would also voted for street racing lol ...on yeah, and why put Track when that also means the same thing as Dragracing? If you meant NASCAR type racing, then put Circle track, etc.) So anyways, I just randomly picked ferrari and audi cause it wouldn’t let me submit my vote without picking something in those two areas.

Dude, if you’re going to look it like that, then that means you’re gonna have to give the EVERY single car/motor that same amount of “respect” that you’re giving to the supra. I think we can agree on that. Over here in Europe we have these things called ‘Race’ tracks, they are similar to nascar tracks except (and this is where you might get confused) they have more than four corners and some of the corners go the other way the other way (yes it might sound crazy to you, but is actually quite fun). In addition to this we thought that i might be fun to make these tracks off different lengths (are you still following this, I hope you are) ranging from quite small ‘handling’ tracks to long tracks (for further reading look up the Nordschleife section of the Nurburgring in Germany).
I hope this has been an education!

The “Track” over here IS 1/4 mile racing. If it goes in circles, it’s circle track racing. If it involves driving thru streets, the woods, thru dirt, mud, etc., it’s ralley racing. If it’s a euro event/race, then it is what it is.

Yeah, sorry about that (OMG intervention break thru! lol), I get carried away when it comes to American cars vs. Imports lol It’s a flaw that’s still in me that stems back to my street racing days when there’d be all kinds of imports on the streets driving as if they owned the world, revving up their motors, talking all kinds of shit about V8s etc., but when it would come down to it, they’d head for the hills with their heads/tails between their legs when they’d get hit up to race. Then to make matters worse, while running with fear cause they knew they’d get their asses handed to them, they’d still talk shit to make themselves feel better for running away. I thought that the 413 was a bored out (possible 0.080” over if the walls could handle it) 400ci motor. Pretty interesting! I’m not too knowledgable in the Mopar department, but I do LOVE them! :-)

I’m sorry but a solstice with an engine swap =/= a solstice. You can throw a new engine into any tiny car and make it fast. How about working with whats there? The Supra has plenty more than enough to work with and then some!

all you complaining and comparing about engine stats in the supra and solice is getting old…
think about the R34 a single turbo replacement and a few other modifications and there are stories of them hitting 1000 horsepower…. if we had an r34 i’d drive it and that’s with four wheels like some of the more exotic cars too,
rx-7’s even have stories of amping thier engines too 800 hp, not alot compared to 1000 in the GT-R but when the coeffiecent of weight is added that car will fly. the point I am trying to make is that if all you want is horsepower then buy it in an exotic, or spend alot of money, but if you want style and faness, well that’s just subjective….
me personally I think the Pontiac is a POS and would be scrap to any car out there sides the Neon….

eh, even 1k hp with a toyed with rb26. my next project is going to be a built and injected 26 runnin abt 1200 w/o shot, and hopefully about 1600-1800 w/shot. there are stories of those motors taking nearly 2500hp at the crank

To that supra above, not to be bashing, but I have seen a 1992 ford f-150 pull out with 1142 hp and 1276 foot pounds of torque with the inline 6 (aka 300 ci) bored out and injected with single turbo, and a few other small things. You can take just about any vehicle and tune it close to one grand hp now.

Alright guys – let’s all take a deep breath here and relax. I won’t say the words myself, but the premise of it is what I think. Let’s not bash cars of a certain make, of a certain model, etc. If you like a one-wheeled car that requires the blood of puppies and kittens to run, that’s fine with me, I’m not going to bash that car. I will think certain things about you, but I will keep it to myself.
Regarding the poll – drag strip was one of the options, and I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that when I put “track” on there, it probably didn’t mean “drag strip”, because drag strip was already one of the options. So from now on in vDream (you can think whatever you want in real life), a Drag Strip is the 1/4 mile race, a Track is a race with actual turns. Not saying that’s how it has to be in real life, just saying how it’s going to be in vDream.
And the Solstice and Supra are both still being built. We know it’s been a while with the Solstice, but we’ve had some issues with our artists which are now fixed. We’re back on the horse, and once the cars start rolling out, they’ll be rolled out with more frequency.
Last word of advice: if someone likes a car – let them! They won’t change their opinion because of you! Live and let live!

I voted for the Ferrari and the Porsche. The Ferrari is fast, period. The Porsche, on the other hand, is one of the most beautiful cars ever crafted.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned/suggested, but I think the racing format should be changed. Instead of grouping cars by horsepower levels when looking for a random race, it should be grouped by e.t.s. How is it fair if, for example, someone has a car with 500hp and weighs 3200lbs, and races an RX7 with 490lbs and weighs under 2500lbs? Yeah sure, there’s always that “chance” were you might win $850, but what good is that money if you’ll have to lose who knows how many times just to make $850 once!? I’d rather take my chances winning $450 against a similar car with a comparable hp to weight ratio as me where I’ll have a waaay better shot at winning. Anyway, just my $0.02 :)

I don’t see the point of the chicken outs. I’ve never chickened out and don’t ever plan to, but if you’re perfectly fine getting picked on by Vettes, Vipers, S7s, and who knows who else that’ll continually beat you, then that’s kool with me. But personally, I don’t feel it’s fair to others. I could care less cause I’m gonna race anyone, anytime, I’m just trying to suggest something to make the playing field even, and hopefully more entertaining instead of scaring off new people if/when they feel discouraged when they can’t win a race against others with faster cars.

i voted for the Audi TT and the Lamborghini
personally i think we need to get the Supra up here, and the EVO IX or X, cant have the STi without the EVO in my opinion, then we should get the R34 GTR for us JDM guys for the domestics junkies we need the Ford GT, the Charger, and the GTO and for the Euro folks they should get the Jetta 1.8T, the 135i, and the R8what do you think?
