So, to sum that up, stay active, accept and send out as many challenges as you can, max out on all of them. being the underdog helps it as well.

Yuriy is right. Can’t change the color of the fenders yet. As you can see, Ronald McDonald’s Solstice up there was originally a red solstice, he replaced the bumper with a yellow one, the doors with yellow ones, and added yellow sideskirts. The fenders and trunk still remain red.
But this will change soon. vDream is ever-changing, and it might only be a matter of weeks before we offer CF fenders for most, if not all cars. Especially if we win fbFund. =D

Um is there any reason the ecu does not boost the hp or torque on the solctice or the fact that most of the stock parts are sold for a whopping $0. something to look into guys.

I just wanted to take a moment and say I have officially joined the 1000 win club! I really wanted to make 1000 wins before 500 losses, but 1000-518 isn’t a bad record. That said, on the topic of VDI, how is it that I can send max challenges every day, have a 2:1 win/loss record, and still struggle to get my VDI back above 800?
As for the mention of CF fenders and the paintshop…you guys rock. Keep up the good work.

I don’t get it…I’m rockin the same M3 as Luke, but I’m lucky to get 10 challenges a day. Nobody challenges me, despite the fact that with a 607 hp M3 I am in a solid pack of other M3’s, maxed out GTRs, Camaros, Mustangs, GT3’s, and 350Zs as well as lightly modded Vipers and Corvettes. But I only get a few challenges, and it seems like they are all rematches. And I’m not cherry picking lower powered cars either (hence my 2:1 rather than 4:1) WL ratio. Is there any way the devs or mods could set up a system so that people who really wanted to race more could be placed higher on the list for random challenges, ie: show up more often?
Please forgive my whining. I really like the game, I just want to get on the damn leaderboard!
and Anas, I should hope you win most of your races. You do have a saleen after all… :P

Oh and I had an idea a couple of days back. I’m not sure where to post this so I’ll leave it here. If there’s a more appropriate place please let me know. But anyway.
I was playing NFS ProStreet the other day and I started to wonder if it was possible for vDream to be set up in a similar fashion with regard to events, but with a few tweaks. Say you have a garage with just one place. Then you take your one car, and compete in every type of event (Drag, Track, NASCAR). But if you have multiple cars, why shouldn’t you be able to specialize?
Say you have space to get a car that is a “beast on any track,” like the GT3. What if you could use that as your track racing car? All the challenges you sent with that car would remain tied to that GT3. Challenges you sent with another car, for instance a Corvette for drag or endurance races, would stay with the Corvette.
I realize that this would require people to monitor their gas consumption very closely on each of their cars, but I think it would reward the dedicated players, and give those just joining a reason to purchase a garage space and a second car, besides the cool factor.

That is a cool idea, and I do like it, Fizzle. I’ll bring it up to the rest of the team. But be warned, if we even do decide on doing something similar, it won’t happen for a few months. We are but 2 employees strong, and Cheechoo doesn’t even code, the bastard.
And BTW, the Vette is also quite nasty on the track as well.

Hey cheech, I’m not about to start foaming at the mouth. I just thought maybe I had a good idea. It doesn’t happen very often to me, so I figured I’d share it. Hope you guys win the fund. I did my best to help you out. And as for the coding, don’t do it fast. Just do it right. Hell, if the Lexus LF-A can take umpteen bajillion years to develop (and it’s expected to be close to perfect) you guys can take a couple months and put out some quality products.
And I know the Vette tears up the track. But I’m partial to ass engined nazi slot cars with N/A flat sixes that rev to infinity or so. Jeremy Clarkson be dammed, there’s more to life than “more power!”

dude lets play guess the surprise…my bet is paint shop. Or brakes. If we’ve got track racing now, brakes would be nice, especially if they were modeled on the image. Some Gold StopTech 6pot calipers on carbon ceramic rotors would look great on my M3…separate caliper and brake disk upgrades please! that way we can mix and match.

hey fizzle, i kinda already do what you mentioned before… i try to send out 1/4 mile races with my saleen and send out track races with the m3. i just gotta try stay on top of how low the saleens petrol gets while it’s in the garage. i check up on it every nownthen.
if i was smart i’d get a porsche or rx7 for the track races, but yeh. i’m not a real bright spark…or i could even send out all my challenges with the saleen, but i reckon thats kinda cheap and cheaterish, sort of.

Hey Daniel, I got the info for the compound boost set up/kit, but there’s only one problem…......WE NEED AN ‘03-’04 COBRA ON THE GAME!!!! What are you talking about Daniel? We don’t have that car, there’s A Mustang, but not a Cobra, and it’s not even the same year or body style.
