    Hello vDreamers! I’m here to post the Awards of the Week – an easy way to make money! If you ever are the most active user, have the most losses, or have a unique car, all in the past week, you have a chance to win $5000 vDollars! Here goes:

    And Yuriy, we can’t tell how many losses you get with a particular car, but you got 493 losses in the past week, you beast. You can’t win the weekly award though. =)

    well, a viper doesn’t help you if you’re constantly being attacked by saleens and corvettes =)

    i was more concentrating on activity points rather that wins. and i hope the lambo will be a true competitor to the saleen! so, the turbocharger kit with exhaust system should add 400+ hp g

    I have seen that kit, but I can go ahead and guarantee you that it won’t work with anything like a lambo. Those universal kits are designed for simple, non-tuned cars.

    The level of tuning that the LP640 has would be completely disrupted by a $5,000 universal turbo kit. It would need extensive computer modifications, as well as a good deal of hardware development. It would be like taking a Saturn V rocket and strapping a bunch of those hobby-rocket motors to the bottom of it instead of liquid boosters….

    aye… same thing with the Gt-r… the level of tuning is so much different now a days… back in the 90’s and 80’s it was easy to install a turbo, and amp up the horsepower, with simple things like coil over suspens’ and such

    now these cars are mad to perform with their stock parts at their peak. so simple changes don’t have the same effect..

    now saying that

    some simple ways of increaseing horsepower still include easier breathing, Intake and Exhuast piping.. replacing the stock computer chip and such.. but with cars like the Lambo it’s going to be hard to find anything

    Right. Most cars at that level are already using phenomenal air intakes and exhaust systems. There are a few manufacturer restrictions that limit production with the highest horsepower output, and that is where the specialty companies come in and modify the parts for more power.

    With the LP640 yes… Reliability is a huge issue when you are putting a turbo into a V12 worth $400k. haha… but the Gallardo’s have tons of aftermarket. I know personally about 3 different TT kits and there are at least a dozen or so TT Gallardo’s rolling around the US.

    ok i learned something here today. i didn’t think vdream really only offers existing kits + parts for the cars, but that’s nice :-)

    i long ran after a saleen and when i finally had the cash i heared about the lambo to be added soon, so i changed my mind and since then i’m waiting. if the lambo can’t reach the tuning level of a saleen, then why not tune a bugatti veyron, a simple +10% would do :-)

    ha ha that veyron would be out of everyone’s price limit I would think….

    And yes, we strive to have accurate parts for every car that we have in the application. That is why our part submission form asks for such specific information.

    lol @ Daniel, i wouldn’t worry bout it, i’m still miles off! But i think the wreath must have some kinda added vdi booster or somethin…..lol. Seems like since i bought them my vdi has started climbing again..

    Where’s the other half of my team though?? lol u gotta catch up Allowe, what happened to the slipstreaming plan?

    that STS turbo kit is not compatible with mid-engine vehicles fellas….have had experience installing them on numerous vehicles (mainly F-Bodys and GM Pickups). They are a great kit for say the vette or the mustang, but they absolutely, fundamentally, will not work on a mid engine vehicle like the lambo. There are forced induction kits out there for them though, let me do a little digging

    thats alright in vdream. and its cheaper than the lingenfelter TT for the vette and the hennesey for the viper (60000>54000) i thought when u said expensive u meant almost the car’s cost. i was like wow!

    Cattaco- The glitch is that you were challenged by an RX-7, but they switched cars after they challenged you to a viper, so it shows the stats of the car they are currently driving. However, because their car is locked into the challenge, you still race their RX-7 and not the Viper. Hope that helps.

    And yes, Yuriy, I “won” by having more losses….that seems soooo backwards…
