I really like that one! Oh and I need to send out a huge apology to LXS and whoever else was subject to my younger brothers ranting and raving about a truck he has no clue about. I was away on business on and off for a few weeks and had him just sending and receiving races for me to keep my VDI up. While he was doing this apparently he was posting under my name ridiculous claims and statements about how great this truck is. So again LXS and whoever else I’m very sorry and I hope you can accept my apology.

Why would you not add the Ford Lightning to the mix? Honestly, I find it quite odd that you guy’s wouldn’t add a car, or in this case another truck, to contend with. It makes no sense to have one particular type of vehicle without another option in it’s class to choose from and race.

But I’m sure you guy’s will probably add one down the road eventually. But I think it would be better if you were to wait and release at least two vehicles of the same class at once to give people a choice in option and increase fair competition.

Hey I have a great idea! Lets make a racing game for 5hp go carts! We could have them do 1/4 mile, road course, and circle track! But just for kicks, we could throw in a 1000hp monster truck! That would be funny! LOLOLOLOLOL! But we could make the truck pink and have 7 foot rims with spinners and 100 speakers in the bed for extra downforce. LOLOLOLOLOL x2! We can do whatever we want! haha yeah what Jev is trying to say is that if the lightning was also added then people would complain if it ended up being slower. Or the Ram people would complain if the lightning was faster.

There isn’t any sort of clas system in the game car wise so there really doesn’t need to be another truck although maybe sometime a ways down the line.

The Vdream community picked the truck remember! So don’t complain to the admins! The great thing about this game is that they have relied almost entirely on user input to decide which car comes next.

Just a suggestion….

I haven’t bought the Ram, and not even sure if I will, but, I think a great “upgrade” for it would be giving the users the ability to yank those HUGE 20” rims off in favor of some lighter and smaller 15” rims. That would be a really good improvement for it on the 1/4 mile, not sure how much it would improve/worsen it’s performance for the other two tracks? :)

Any convo about what truck is better and what not was on him. The only time I was home and on here was literally just send receive challenges then off not a whole bunch of time to have convos on here. The last conversation I had with you was a while back when the trucks were first announced and I just said I liked the Ram and the henessey kits. This last one where he was being the tool the whole time with bullshit answers and lame excuses that was him.

geeze some of you guys need to lighten up, or at least have the balls to say your name idk how many of you work with apps or websites or stuff like that but its not as easy as “oh i like that car im gonna click on it and make it appear in the game” it takes a ton of work besides they will have to put a lightning or another truck to compete with it eventually so just chill out lol if you dont like the srt dont buy one and if you think its too slow to be in the game, good you will probably beat it and if you dont then you shouldnt be talking keep it up vdream these guys are too big of wimps to put their names down so theyre not worth listening to in the first place

Hey Anonymous, why don’t you just put your name up that way we can all get to know you. You feel that the truck shouldn’t be in a racing game, that’s fine, you’re entitled to you opinion :) But atleast give us the “grace” of getting to know you. I mean, as long as your not bad mouthing anyone here, or trying to start crap, we all should be good :) Personally, I don’t feel that imports and euro cars should be racing on the 1/4, but that’s just my personally feeling and opinion. I’m not gonna try to stuff it down anyone’s throat and make them believe what I believe. Hey when I went to an HPDE event at Infineon, I certainly saw some trucks out there. Even a Scion xB. I’m not saying they race trucks on the track professionally, but people bring whatever they want to track events. It’s about having fun!

Here’s another suggestion….

When your at the auto parts store, there should be a side by side comparison of what your car weighs at present (including hp/tq, etc), and what it can potentially weigh with the new part, that way you don’t have to go back and forth from your garage to look at your original specs, then back to the auto parts store. And another good thing to add would be, being able to see exactly how much weight you’re taking off of your car. So in essence, you’ll be seeing two weights, what your car currently weighs, what it will weigh with the new part, and how much difference/weight savings you’ll be getting! :)

but i gotta admit having a truck throws in a variety to the vDream mix and makes it all the more exciting and interesting. plus it is a really good rendition of the truck. one of the better renders on vDream. keep up the good work.

Not complaining about the Ram. It won the vote fair and square. After buying it, I found the random challenge selections to be interesting. The power to weight ratio is a lot different between a 900+ HP truck and a Corvette with the same power.

that’s strange they shouldn’t disappear after you’ve staged in any case you can always try re-downloading and re-extracting the files if it continues make a thread about it on the fourm i’m sure someone could help you there as well

I apologize if what I said offended you in any way. What I said wasn’t intended to talk down or bad about euros and imports. I made that statement as a way to relate to someone else, in regards to what that previous person had stated. I’ve been racing for the past 10 years, and believe me, I know which cars are fast, which aren’t fast, and which can be made faster. I definatly know that there are a lot of really fast imports out there racing on the 1/4 and 1/8th miles. Do I like them? No. That’s just me :) The same way that you’re not a truck fan, I’m not a fan of imports. Euros, yeah, I like them! I prefer vintage Volkswagen best! :D I had a ‘66 Karmann Ghia, and currently have a ‘61 Ragtop Bug :) Out of all the Euro cars, new and old, me personally, I think Volkswagens (and older Porches) make the best 1/4 mile race cars! But again, that’s just me :)

As for your Mustang remarks and comments, I’m not sure where those came from, cause I definately never mentioned anything about Mustangs, nor making any statements about bone stock 300hp Mustangs being “uber” fast. If you’re just talking about them because you happened to beat a couple stock ones, fine, that’s kool. I really don’t wanna get into any more arguments or “debates” on here anymore, let’s just say, “I’ve been warned” by the higher powers around here, and I’m going to do my best not to get into any debates.

I’ll just end this by saying, there’s a whole lot MORE to racing then just putting the car in gear and mashing the “go” pedal! There are LOTS of fast cars out there driving on the street and racing on the tracks all across the U.S. and world. Some of them weigh a lot, some of them weigh practically nothing at all! Some of them have 4 cylinders, while other may have 5, 6, 8, or 10! Everyone likes what they like for their own personal reasons, and as long as we don’t go bashing what everybody likes, or try to “convert” others into believing what someone else may want them to believe, everything around here should be good :)

The Ram is sweet. I worked at a Dodge dealer and had the oppertunity to drive a hand full of these machines and i can tell you they perform very, very well. Not that it’d really matter but a Dakota R/T would be an interesting addition to this game, light…er weight with a 360ci 5.9ltr under the hood, they fly if you can get the rear end to hook up. The Ram SRT looks great and be a truck guy i appreciate you making it an option in vDream.
