    Hello vDreamers! We’ve just launched a small set of user interface upgrades to make your lives, not to mention the lives of our servers, a bit easier. Let us know if you run into any bug outs or weird behavior.

    First User Experience. This is for users that newly install vDream (sorry old timers). We have created a new user wizard to help guide the newbs in buying their first car and learning about the challenge system.

    Show off your vDream garage in your profile! Instead of only display the car that a user is driving and listing it’s installed parts, we decided it might be a little cooler to see a user’s entire garage and the stats for each car.

    Part Shed Optimizations. We did a little reorg on the Part Shed page. It should load a little faster and be much more server friendly.

    Fixed inaccurate reward messaging. The bug that was displaying incorrect reward values from challenge wins has been fixed. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then slap your left knee with your right hand and dance in a circle (did anyone actually do that?)

    Happy vDreaming! Oh, and were planning on launching a major new feature in the upcoming weeks. I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you what it’s not. It’s not a rat sitting on a cat sitting on a dog, although that would be pretty neat.

    Sven you still only challenge the car they are using.

    The garage seems to be listing in the order the cars were bought, is that right?

    If it is can we have an indication of which car we will actually challenge?

    it seems all the races i accepted this morning before vdi system got the update are NOT in my vdi. if i figured out correctly, losing as underdog gives you +2 to vdi, which means i should have +40 to +60 more on my vdi right now :-(

    yah sven it happens, happened to me before like that as well. it might be that those races are transfered to the next vdi update and you’ll get a huge jump. thats what happened to me

    cool feature though, and the noob thing is cool too coz i kno of a couple people that have added the app then forgoten bout it coz they couldn’t figure it out,lol, not sure how but i guess it does happen.

    Hey just throwing this out there… How about a way to add friends from one site to the other, or in simple words, becoming friends with the people from Facebook, even though you have the Myspace version…

    Jukebox, that would be really cool. I’m all for more ways to bring people together on vDream. Not sure if we’d be able to do that using the myspace/facebook friend system.

    MySpacers can get an extra v$6,000 before buying a car so that brings the Mustang and 350z within their price range.

    Does the system show the two extra cars or just the 5 ‘starter’ cars?

    the chart is understandable. during sept- oct, they went onto myspace and the vette was released. later cuz the reccession the number went down. not alot cuz its old people percentage was really low. now its back up because some people might have heard of it during FB fund

    I think he is saying that MySpace users can send invites then get that extra money as soon as they start, which means that they have a major advantage starting.

    Since we see the entire garage when we race people, can we get something that lets us know which car they are currently driving? I also want to know if I can get an “except all” button?

    Oh i see, ya but that whole “invite deal” has already been established in previous blog entries.

    when you click on the user the car he is driving should be the first one to show

    an “accept all” button? I don’t think that’s going to work out. Because of filling gas and etc.

    There is now a button under the pic of the car part. You can no longer just click on the part like you can to uninstall parts. It was invisible earlier, but it appears to be fine now.
