We here at vDream would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day! Spend some time with your significant others, eat some chocolate, and kill some roses!
We have released a few unique parts into the system, and I’ve used them to make a neat Valentine’s Day Mini Cooper! Hopefully some of the ladies out there start rolling around in one of these bad boys!
Also, have you noticed that we’ve changed the VDI system? It’s more linear now, instead of super-dynamic like before. Everyone’s VDI should start growing faster now, and VDI is updated on the fly.

I just wanna make sure about something, with every win I’ve gotten, my VDI has gone up a bit, but does that mean when I lose, it’ll go down? Or will it stay where it’s at?

the change in the VDI is all well and good, but the leader board isn’t updating. mine is currently 995, but it shows as 953 on the leader board against my friends, and 966 against everyone.
i’ve also been having issues with stats updating after changing parts. has anyone else noticed such things?

since the vdi system is now updated in realtime (not depending on many factors from the past week), i don’t see any reason why the leaderboard is not updated on the fly as well. it’s as simple as putting an index on the vdi attribute in the corresponding database table, to accelerate the select command.

btw i think the new vdi system is crap :-) why should someone leave a gt3 parked in the garage when this gets challenged by vettes, vipers and saleens, will lose 100% sure and get zero points for that? parking a saleen will maybe bring you less challenges, but since you get the same zero points for that, where’s the difference?

the only time i lost VDI points was when i was the car projected to win, when i was the underdog and i lost, i didnt lose any VDI points, i just didnt gain any either….granted my VDI has gone up nearly 100pts, but at the same time i dont think ill be getting as many challenges now that my saleen is out and most likely going to be staying out, unless this is just temporary and we will start getting VDI points for activity again, cause as it stands, im only going up for wins, as it seems everyone else is too….now if ur the underdog and you win a challenge, ur VDI may go up more than if you were favored to win the race, but i personally dont want to find out when i can have a car out thats favored to win and pretty much get some guaranteed VDI, lol…

On the American car side, we need MORE Fords to choose from! Just saying :) There’s three GM cars, three Dodge vehicles, one Saleen and one Ford…..what’s up with that?
