I’m extremely happy to see a VeeDub! It just sucks that is called a ‘71, cause the Bug you guys have is NOT a ‘71 Bug! Hahaha Those headlights are ‘66 and older headlights, not to mention that there aren’t any turn signals….which is reminiscent of the ‘55 and older Bugs ( they’ve got semiphores which pop out between the doors and rear side window). Other then those small technicalities, I LOVE it!!!!

Oh yeah, one more thing missing, the Bug doesn’t have the chrome rear quarter window vents. IMHO, I think it would be a lot better to call this bug a ‘62-’66 style, cause that’s what it looks like…with shaved turn signals :)

I’m not complaining, just making some suggestions :)

I still cant install the shamrock wheels on my Ram, everytime I try, it says Internet Explorer could not find the page….same thing happened when I tried installing some wheels on my elise that were in my parts shed, i got fed up with the elise and just rebought the wheels instead…whats up???

Has anyone put the vented front fenders on their Elise? It says they release heat from the front brakes, I’m curious if they will help reduce track times even though they seem to add a few pounds. Can anyone verify that they do in fact add weight because theres been a few times where a part will take off weight once installed despite the description saying they add weight.

Ok, something is screwy with my VDI, I just had 4 challenges accepted, all of which were wins, all of which gained me absolutely nothing, then I had 2 people challenge me and I won one race and lost the other, and immediately after accepting each race my VDI went up for those two corresponding race, but nothing from the other wins, and I have noticed that a few times in the past few days as well…whats up with that….and also, still no reply on why Internet Explorer cant find specified page popping up when I try to install the shamrock wheels on my Ram…...

There are issues with wheels sometimes with IE, it’s a bug that we haven’t been able to figure out. I installed the shamrock wheels on your RAM. VDI sometimes takes a few minutes to update. You don’t get extra VDI from wins anymore, so you’d just get the VDI from accepting challenges.

Yay! Air-heads represent! For real guys, I have a ‘73 Bus and this is the most awesome thing y’all have yet released. For the record, there are 300hp N/A Beetles out there that run low 10s in the quarter. And one guy makes 650+ out of 2.8L and runs high 7s and low 8s. Joe- We have changed the challenge process so that you get your initial 15 challenges immediately, and when you send them all out, you get an additional 5 challenges every 4 hours. When you use your next set of challenges, it will be another four hours before you get another 5 challenges. They are not cumulative.

This is an attempt to give people who are more active a bit of a “bonus”

Not yet, you just gotta be patient. The parts will come, but keep in mind that everyone who makes vDream into the game will love and enjoy, are busy with a lot of other aspects of the game…such as making sure it’s running properly, etc. From what I know, there are a lot of parts that have been submitted, so believe me, there are parts in the waiting bin, we just gotta wait until they get approved and “animated.” :)

Only reason Bug isn’t fast is due to not having the ability to due motor swaps. If it was allowed, there would EASILY be 7-10 second 1/4 mile Bugs on this game! But aside from that, the reason that there aren’t any Shelby Cobras, ZR1 Vettes, etc. is because the majority of vDream didn’t vote for those cars. Instead, they voted for another Nissan, which I have to really bite my lip AND tongue HARD to not say anything bad negative! hahaha But anyway, better cars will come, we all just have to be really patient :)
