Yeah the STi would be a nice addition but where is the MKIV Supra…That is a benchmark Japanese supercar I’d say lol…Is there any hope to get one eventually because I’m not gonna waste my money on another car if there is a future for the Supra!!!

The game could use a few more things to it. For starters the racing…What’s up with it?? I don’t like how you have to request racing. takes too long. You should be able to race anybody at any time. And have an option of disabling your car in the game if you don’t want other people racing you while you’re not online. Another thing is there has to be more cars, and soon. The car selection is weak. The cars in the game look fantastic but there just isn’t enough of them. Stick in a Cobalt, RX-7, Silvia, Camaro, Subaru STi…anything. Something a little different from the other racing games would be nice. A 2008 Ford Focus, 2004 Chevy Cavalier, 2006 Pontiac GTO, 1994 BMW E36, 1989 Toyota Supra, 1989 Ford Mustang, 1995 Subaru Impreza 2 door. Be creative (PLEASE, I’M BEGGING YOU) and don’t go the same root as all the other games. This is the best racing game on facebook and it’s only the beginning. Please give a few different cars that other games won’t give you. The customizing and visuals are amazing. I like how you can actually see the changes in the vehicles when you are customizing them. This game will set a new wave of racing on facebook and I don’t plan on giving up on it anytime soon.

Hey guys, here are responses to some of your questions and feedback.

1) We will eventually have a feature where users can have multiple cars. You might not be able to do that on the Facebook App, however. We haven’t decided yet… When we launch our main site on vDream.com, you will have an extended feature set that includes having a garage with several cars.

2) GTR and STI are coming soon. I know, we owe you guys. Again, its been a hectic week, we’re doing everything we can do get these cars to you! Justin, these are addressing your comments:

3) We added the requests for racing because we don’t want a user with a 900 horsepower viper to be able to challenge someone with and integ and varnish their record without the integ user having a say in it. I know that other apps out there let you throw out challenges like theres no tomorrow, but on vdream we want challenges and a user’s record to mean something. Yes, the challenge system is simple right now. It’s just a place holder for a flash game that we are in the progress of developing.

4) Good idea on the option of disabling your car. We have already gotten similar feedback and it has been added to our eternal “To Do” list.

5) We’re trying our best to get you guys more cars! Believe it or not, it takes a TON of hard work on our side to produce a car. Each car goes through several revisions and approvals. The car’s that you guys are seeing have been through a long and thorough quality check.

6) The cars that you see on the site are UP TO YOU. User’s decide, thats our motto. Check out the polls on the blog to voice your opinion on the next car. And no, we don’t want to do all the same cars that you see on all the other apps. We want to have novelty cars (old school american muscle/suv), technology cars (hybrids, etc), and cars that will let you express yourself (xA’s, etc).

I wish you could actually drive the car you race.. Not sure if any of you played the old nitto 555 game but that was the shit.. you could place bets and had to actually launch the car,shift and spray (nitrous). Maybe that’s too hard to do I really don’t know but it would add a whole new element and would also draw more people in to join.

We already have designs for a full on racing game for vDream. Don’t get me wrong, this is going to be down the road, but mark my works… we will have a kick @$$ racing game where you can race your cars against each other and really feel the performance difference. For the short term we are designing a relatively simple flash 1/4 mile drag racing game (similar to nittos). That should be around the corner.

Awesome Lijen… you guys are doing great, so no worries XD We’re all gonna have to be patient… Just be sure to try and keep it as real as possible, because we all know nowadays with some cash and parts, you can make a Honda Civic SI reach SERIOUS HP and times… For example, consider adding turbos to the Civic/Integra instead of just superchargers… you know how boost happy Honda engines are =D Anyways, just a suggestion, and of course for you to consider and implement whenever you feel like it… I just swapped my Civic for a Mustang and it was probably the biggest mistake I made =P Not because I dislike the Mustang or anything, but it’s a goddamn heavy car… The little awesome Integras are totally pawning me, hahahaha XD Maybe I’ll swap to an Integra… hmmmm

Thanks guys! And by the way, if you have any specific parts (such as turbochargers, etc) that you want to see on the site, it never hurts to submit a Part Submission Request. Cheechoo checks those to determine what goes into the system. Again, we want USERS to decide what is on the site. If you use a part that you submit, you’ll also get a small $5,000 vDollar reward.

Great work on the new server upgrades! Shouts go out to Cheechoo and Lijen and the vDream Beta team! Great job guys, as I am also doing my best to Beta Test! :-) The refresh rate per page is EXCELLENT! Also, as Lijen posted a few “posts” prior to this one, it takes A LOT of hard work into producing just ONE new vehicle! Trust me, as a fellow web designer and Network Administrator, currently sub-contracted with Yahoo, I know the difficulties when it comes to designing and coding your OWN app, website, etc. (I mean, try writing your own SQL database from scratch and match it to a Facebook app… It’s VERY time consuming and it burns you out, not to mention the red eyes you constantly have 24/7 from staring at your monitor for ten hours straight a day, lol)!!! Even now, at 3:45 pm EST, I am typing with one eye open because my left eye is bloodshot like I just stumbled out of a crazy, college party, lol…

Please be patient and expect to see the GTR & STI soon enough! Lijen and the others are working 24/7 to get everything done as fast as possible, but still, it takes time to produce the cars (trust me, I KNOW this)... I usually speak to Lijen via a chat client at least one or two times a week, depending on our schedules, and I assure you, the new cars ARE coming! :-) As far as cars running with the Viper, I’m sure the GTR & STI will DEFINITELY be quick, but the GTR & STI running with the Viper is obviously up to Lijen, Cheechoo, and others that may Beta Test or support the project. In my opinion, I feel that the GTR should run with the Viper, but that is up to the “team” to decide! :-p

As for now, I think it would do VERY well and be the MOST productive, if ALL members that are actively participating in vDream Racing would submit parts via the “Part Submission Request!” Visit the following link to do so: http://vdream.com/part_suggestions/new . The GTR sure will not have alot of parts, but alot of tuning shops out there already tuned it, so there will be parts for it very soon, probably a matter of time.

The disabling car thing I would love you guys to introduce it as fast as you can, but it probably wont help me ‘cause I have a school trip thing for a week or so and I’m sure I’ll wuss out quite alot of races. But just to be sure you add that feature in the future as I do think that it is very nice and would help alot of people.

But anyways, keep up the good work, no need to rush everything as this really is the best car racing app in Facebook!
