    That’s it for the rewards this week. But I have one announcement: This coming week, we will release a user submitted parts package which will only include parts that users have submitted and were accepted. I have to admit, there weren’t that many good submissions. Remember, you guys have to try and stick with part types that we currently offer! There weren’t that many visual parts that were feasible with our system yet. But keep sending the submissions! We’re looking at every one!

    Grats to the winners! The lady vDreamer’s GTR looks sweet! I’m sure everyone would agree with me when I say that I can’t wait for the new parts coming in the upcoming week! Also, the Saleen is coming soon as well, so that’s gonna be hella tight, hehe!!! :-D

    Keep submitting those parts guys and gals, keep inviting more peeps and don’t forget to “max out” those challenges too (more challenges = more money)! Go vDream!

    Hey all! Responding to “SAAM007’s” question, about not accepting or denying a challenge, I’ve gone ahead and typed out the following to shed a bit of light for “SAAM007” and any others who might be curious about his question…

    Okay, if you choose to chicken out of a race, it counts as a “chicken out,” naturally. But, as your question was, and I quote, “BTW what happened if you don’t accept or deny a challenge for few days ? will it just be delete or you get chicken out mark as well ?”

    Well, here is the answer to your question, “SAAM007:” After a few days, if you have not accepted or denied a challenge request, the challenge request will be deleted out of your list of “Current Challenges.” So, it will NOT count as a “Chicken Out” mark on your vDream race history! As I just stated, it simply gets taken out of your list of “Current Challenges.”

    The best idea, in my opinion, is to just race everyone! I can understand if you get challenged by a very powerful Dodge Viper and you’re just ridin’ with a Mini Cooper, lol. I could understand if you didn’t want to accept the challenge to a race like that, lol! But in general, you’d be surprised on how many races you can win, when it looks like you might not! Have faith in your ride; you just might find out that you can win races that you’ve been denying the whole time… ;-) Well then, I’m sure my “epic” of a post cleared that up, lol. I’m outta here! It’s time to go race some more!!! Go vDream!

    you’d thnk the porsche would have a bit more pwer, really. being the most expensive and all. It’s good that it’s so light but it kinda lacks a serious engine mod. just got a whole bunch of little stuff. It’s not too bad tho, still a sexy car. The Saleen should be good, but howbout maybe another exotic type car, the yank tanks and ricers are way dominating

    now all we need is some fenders, aftermarket carbon fiber hoods, more of a color option for wheels, afetrmaket carbon fiber side view mirror, impo(in my personal opinion) i wanna see a gauge cluster for the dash, that would be sick, dont wanna see neon lights, or ridiculous bodykits, thats just a waste of time and retarded, lol, thats like putting a barbed wire license plate cover on a lambo lol, and on the back says supafast lol, fuck that, please no flames, some viynls can be okay, some are pointless, if ur asking or going to say.. doesnt flames add more horsepower, im going to shoot you lol, wide fenders, carbonfiber pillars, quarterpanles, pretty much, everything on the car should be made into a option of carbon fiber, we need to get this more car like.. like is it really that easy to get 4800 in a second from inviting friends lol, or we all know the saleens about to come out, how much is it going to be, impo it should be the stickerprice of what it sells for in the real world like a 03 used saleen s7 is 375, 000 lol I WANNA SEE THAT PRICe!!!

    Jed ‘Papa Doc’ Arain, Thanks for you answer. I never chicken out of the race or wait for it to delete. I was just wondering because I am maxing my challenges every day but not everyone accepts or deny so after few days they just disappear from my list. I used to own Honda Civic and I had great record with it and now the Viper is great but still need more money to update it. I never chickened from a race and I don’t intended to. for the other people who waiting for the challenges to get delete they wasting good money – worst case you lose and get 20$. but if you win you get 820$.

    There’s still alot of upgrades that are not available in Vdream for other cars. There are engine swaps(That would be simply awesome, eg.Civette)Twin turbos, weight reduction kits, tire upgrades, etc. You can ofcourse suggest the parts you want.

    BTW Vdream admins/mods, I will be away for two weeks or so for a school trip and I can never access internet from there, it would be great if you could change my chickend out races into losses.

    All the people complaining about the GT3 not having enough power.. FIND ME A GT3 WITH A TURBO.. really, just one! There are aftermarket turbo’s for the base carrera’s yes. But the GT3 is basically maxed out with the internals that Porsche has. Those Le Mans GTS cars in ALMS and 24 Heures du Mans? they all have like 450 hp max….... Most of the appeal that comes with a porsche (in real life) is not its straightline speed, it’s the preciseness of the car (and maybe the prestige if you’re one of those folk.) The porsche will be lighter in the coming weeks, but I am adamantly against fabricating a turbocharger or supercharger out of thin air for it.. I want to be based on real life as much as possible for this app, by way of using real life as a canvas. My only grief is that we don’t have a simulation for track lap times (or a game), in which case something like the porsche would excel. Unfortunately team vDream is only 3 men strong.

    blahh, so ive maxed sent challenges… and invitations, u guys need to have something else… something that can judge most active, most losses, and best car

    not just those, have like a voting system, let the members vote, make it like a car club site, everyone has ride of the month… lets do it like that, have a poll, take the 10 most active rides of the month, and let us vote to see who gets it, and same for 10 most losses of the month or top 10 best rides

    We’re working on a Car Show feature that’s somewhat similar to what you were saying, except that it’s just for showing off your car. But the leaderboard and notifications system will probably come first.

    The saleen should be out within the next two days for sure. I’m waiting on our artist to finish just one piece. It’s already in the system, it just needs that ONE piece to be ready to go. The 69 camaro is on its way as well. This week in addition to the Saleen I will be launching the user submitted parts package.

    the picture im looking at, the right vent on the front bumper looks like it sits too hi,and idk something about the whole front bumper looks weird

    The Saleen looks AWESOME; excellent work on the artwork! I will admit, $600,000 is a bit steep, although realistic when it comes to real-life prices (I’d settle for $500,000 and probably no more than $550,000). I do feel the need for prices to be realistic as well as parts and such, but still, the Saleen is high in price. Although, I strongly feel that if the Saleen was to be the only “super sport” car released that will be the most powerful car of all the cars you can choose from for a solid 1.5 – 2 months, then the price of $600,000 seems to be on point. Also, keeping in mind that there are extra parts coming out very soon, I think everything will work out and come together nicely. I have complete faith in Lijen, Cheechoo and the rest of the “vDream Team.”

    Start saving up guys and gals! The Saleen is knocking on your door… and about to blow some racer’s car doors right off, hehe! Go vDream!

    I was just thinking about a few things (considering the upcoming Saleen) and I remembered that I had forgotten something. First off, I retract my previously posted statement about the price of the Saleen ($600k) possibly being too high… Lol, I forgot to figure in the trade-in value of the car being traded in to purchase the Saleen and how that obviously adds into the total cost of this new 700HP beast!

    So, $600,000 does sound like a reasonable price now that I’ve thought it out a bit more, lol! Holla! :-D

    Nice car
    The Saleen S7 cost more then 550K. It is around 580K. Just google “Saleen S7 price” and you will see.
    But I wonder whats the updates for that car and how fast it can get. It is a supercar thats mean it already come “full updated” from the manufacturer.
    So how much better will it get ? will it pass the 950HP and 950TQ the viper gets ? because if it doesn’t it sure not worth the price (even for a car that weight 200lbs-300lbs less)

    Anonymous, don’t know how you were able to find that info, but to answer your question about the Corvette – it hasn’t won a poll yet! It lost to the GTR! We created it a while ago before we decided to leave the voting up to the users. Also it’s not quite ready. If it wins in a poll we send out we’ll finish it up. Or we might just release it on a whim. =)

    You mean how could I find the Saleen stats or teh Corvette. The Saleen stats is easy to find – just need to look for you or Lijen cars (white & red). about the Corvette – the same way as I owning 1954 Beetle :) (ask Lijen with the Saleen I chalange him lol 28 hp vs 750 hp)

    Lijen,
    I know you did :) I challenged you with the Saleen just to show you I got the car but I never wanted to make any harm to you or the game. I did it for fun (this is how bored Software Engineers students bypass time) and it was funny.
    It might give me unfair advantage about the price and stats of the other cars you didn’t release yet but it also gave me a lot of respect for your work. You are doing a fine work with this game and I am very impressed from how the game works / programmed (cars images created on a fly from parts). It is defiantly more complex and elegant then I thought it was from the first impression.
    Well I can try get it again by another way but I think you removed those cars from the database (or at least marked as delete or can’t be bought) so it will be impossible now. But I can try.
