Surprisingly, despite last week’s horrendous amount of down time, we still had a pretty active bunch of users. Here are the rewards for this week:
Most Active User: Carl Smith with 323 Activity points. Remember that there are zero rewards now (monetary, and activity) for sending invitations (facebook’s fault), so these numbers are a lot higher than we expected.
Biggest Loser (most losses): Richard Baird, with 129 losses. This reward money will surely help you out!
Car of the week: Vijay Sarathy, with what I think is a cool Viper. And to the haters out there (and I know there will be haters): Don’t be jealous of America’s Viper!

cars aight in an abstract kinda way i guess,.. just wanted to say that i’m lovin’ the increased race limit thingy! made a big diff to the amount of races that go down. well 4 me anyway. just passed the halfway mark on the way to the saleen, the tiny dot on the horizon is slowly getting bigger,lol

To people who complain about car of the week (every week): You have to understand that because vDream don’t have repaint / vinyls option (yet I hope) they choose the cars by how unique it is and sometimes it doesn’t look the best but it is unique. Most people like monotonous cars (me too) but one color car is look a lot like stock car and thats not unique at all. You need a car that stand out of the crowd.
Take the Viper for example: All black Viper is very nice car (I personally own one) and I think it look better then this car of the week but it look like stock Viper and thats why it will never be car of the week (maybe if I could get white spoiler, skirts and brake clippers it might look more unique).
On vDream one of the car with the most “design” parts is BMW M3: You can color a lot of parts in the car: Windows, Doors, Headlights, Eyelids, Hood, Skirts, Lips, Tops. The more parts you can replace the better you can make your car look.
Lets hope we see in the future more parts to paint so we can see better cars: Windows Tint – red/blue/green/silver All stock parts (Headlights, Fenders, Side Mirrors, Brakes clippers, Tops and etc)
So until then just make your car unique (but not clown car lol) in order to win Car of the Week.

I’d like to know if you can add a feature to the garage. Personally speaking, I’d like to buy cars and KEEP them! :) By doing this, you will give people more options by way of choosing which vehicle they’d like to race against a certain person…..only “catch” is, you can only chose vehicle of choice when sending a challenge. If someone challenges you with a certain car, then you either accept or decline.
I don’t know what others may think, but me personally, I think that’d be a GREAT addition to the game! :)

I agree with Josh Ferguson. Corvette Z06 has more available parts, a bigger engine, and its lighter. It will do better in the game. The ZR1 is already supercharged and has many other upgrades. It doesn’t have as much potential.

we need more “cheap” (80000-140000) exotics. I honestly hate vipers (all) but need a faster car to get up. why not a clk black or a lp560? Or even better a koenigsegg ccx

Sup fellas! Was just thinkin about this whole challenge idea, and I think I have a better one. How about instead of just limiting them to 20 challenges per day, moving the limit to… lets say 50 or 60 total challenges. This way folks can constantly race, but you wont crowd the system with challenges. When 1 challenge is completed, you can send another one in it’s place, and we wont have to wait so long for racers to time out in the 4 day wait time. just a thought… L8er Sk8er’s

The game needs more American/classic cars! The engine/drivetrain combos are limitless for these vehicles.
I’d LOVE to see a ‘70/’71 Chevelle, ‘70s Cuda, ‘68/’69 Charger, ‘70s Challenger, Dodge Dart/Demon, ‘70-’02 Camaro, Stringray Corvettes (any/all years), ‘67-’02 Transam/Firebirds (including WS6), Vegas, ‘60s Shelby Cobra, 64 1/2- 04 Mustang (Fox body/SN95/New Edge), ‘03/’04 Mach 1, 03/04 Cobra, ‘07/’08 Shelby GT500/KR, ‘67 Mercury Cougar XR-7, ‘87 Buick Grand National, Olds Cutlass 4-4-2, Buick Skylark GSX, Pontiac GTO “Judge”, ‘04-06’ GTO, Impala (Practically any year, including the ‘96 LT1 Impalas), ‘55/’56/’57 Chevy Bel-Air, ‘62-’72 Chevy Novas, and any/all ‘20s/’30s/’40s Hot Rod/Roadsters. Hah. Hey guys – to those of you who think that America’s Viper looks ugly. The point is that it’s unique. Much like what SAAM was saying, an all black-on-black viper looks good, but jebus. If I threw a black-on-black Viper as car of the week, there are 50 other people who have the same exact Viper, and they’re gonna be like “what the hell, I have the same exact Viper as him, why didn’t I win?” I guess that’s our fault for not having more parts though… Maybe suggest some more body kits/hoods/sideskirts/spoilers!!!!!!!!!!! 90% of the part submissions I see are just engine parts, or part groupings that we can’t do yet.

Like I’ve said all along… 2004 lamborghini gallardo for $150k (there are actually a few under $100k now days) and then a Twin Turbo Kit by Hefner Performance… then you have a 1000+hp exotic! Plenty of bodykits and aftermarket parts as well! Gallardo’s would be a perfect choice for a mid-range exotic!

this is a little off topic but i am questioning harry’s credability. he calls is station honest harry’s gas emporium then sells you gas at 3.95 a gallon? thats not right. the gas station i live next to says 3.17. im calling you out harry.

A car that hasnt been suggested (that ive seen) is the Mark 4 supra. it would be a GREAT car for the asian market to compete with the Viper. it has TONS of upgradeability and it already a racing icon.

u know guys maybe wat u culd do is get some jackson racing body kits on there or maybe…...instead of having it so that when u equip the suspension that it atuomatically drops have it so we can set the ride hight of our car like a scale from 6inches from ground to 30 inches from the ground…...maybe u culd check out some body parts from nuespeed or even check some of the japanese websites…...idk just throwing some n ames out there and as far as cars go i wuld really like to see some vectors in the game, like the vector w5 v8 or the vector 350 sport or even the regular vector 350…...... theyre all mid mount motor cars but they wuld definitely compete with the viper and the porsche.

To the anonymous dude that bashed the VWs: you do realize a Beetle weighs just 1700lbs, right? With a turbo and 2.4 bore and stroke kits, I’ve seen 600+hp Beetles that run 7s. Hell, I saw a 2.8L naturally aspirated Beetle that made like 315 and ran low 10s. Don’t bash the VWs, they kick serious ass. I’d love to have a Beetle on here. A starter car that maxes out along side the Viper… Hmmm, maybe not such a great idea. I’d never buy a new car.

Dude, the Ghias weigh 1400lbs and have a lower center of gravity. Having the engine in the back (all VWs and Porsches) makes for an awesome launch. Hell, I’ve seen VW Buses that run 10s.

Cheechoo, can you please create M3 style side mirrors for Honda Civic, Grill for Honda Civic front bumper, white spoiler for Viper, white side skirts for Viper, underlight, color brakes clippers, color gas covers. And you want want to add some more colors to the cars that have only few colors.

Yea true story about the gas lol. I know personally my Viper has about 10 races to a tank so I have to fill up everytime I leave the computer. I think challenges being upped to 30 would be good enough that way you can check your status and fill up like twice a day. Also, good call on upping the challenge reward to $50, that little extra makes a noticable difference paired with an increase in challenges.
