Cheating is basically anything that you think would constitute as cheating, haha. Most of the ones we’ve found are people who are using minion accounts to beat up on, and make their record amazing.

for the most part i dont ming being challenged by 974 hp vipers even when i know i wont win, cuz i got only 541 hp. but this one person seems to challange me religiously, he just sent me challenge number six. is there something you mods can do to prevent this type of bullying?

Hey, just wanted to point out the fact that the RX-7 has no camshaft, so hopefully you don’t have one available for it. If you research the rotary engine, it has what’s called an “essentric” shaft, which takes the place of both the cam, and the crank shaft.

as for the cam being expensive, you have to remember that this isn’t something you can just bolt to the engine. you have to take the WHOLE thing apart to install it. the price is going to reflect this.

of course if it was me, while i had my 396ci open to install the new cams i would bored and stroked it out to oh say 520ci giving me another 200 hp. but that’s just me.

and no, the cam shouldn’t be available for the viper! the viper probably already has the most aggressive cam you could put in it and have it still drivable.

Anonymous; Yes, send them any aftermarket tranny you can find for the Viper. Problem is (outside of race-ready sequential ‘boxes), there’s just nothing better than the Tremec T6060 that’s stock. There’s a Heffner TT Viper with 1900 hp that runs high 7s in the quarter with a stock Tremec ‘box. And its a Gen 2 (ours is Gen 3) with the older, inferior Tremec T56.

You should also check your garage to make sure that all of your parts are actually installed. Sometimes, there is a conflict of parts that you have to rectify in your garage, such as an intake manifold/supercharger issue. Check that and get back to us.

Well I have a exhaust piece not installed cause it boosts me up to 825 and then destroyed by the 976 guys. N I dont have enough for the turbo yet. But these guys Im racing that have 740, have the exact same parts installed on there cars that I do, no more, no less. That’s what boggles my mind. N its not just 1 or two, theres alot of them like that. That’s why i think it might be me. But then I see others with my hp/trq with the same parts too. Just wanna make sure Im not missing something. Im gonna make this quick being that I’m posting from my cell phone. I agree with wanting to build up a 396, boreing and stroking it, but there’s no way you can get 502 cubes out of that block! You’d need an aftermarket block or a 502 block….but if you’re gonna buy that block, then why stop at only 502 cubes? Might as well and bore/stroke that sucker! :D

lol i was talkin bout how u said u sent me a few viper challenges, but yeh i don’t doubt there are a few peeps that religously check the blog, i know i do! i’m always kinda lookin foward to it when i’m turnin the puter on (hope that doens’t make me some kinda freak,lol.)

hey josh, good work opn gettin up to 4th! how do u keep ur losses so low? or is that some kinda ninja-ish secret?

just an observation, since the cam was released all the mid level cars have really evened out! like the wrx and 350 used to be pretty easy money but they sure aren’t any more,lol. and wit the ‘7 and even the mustang and the half tuned vipers gettin round it’s getting pretty rough,lol.

ahwell, all fun and games.

also, before i finish that sentence, would it be an idea to have our car randomly break down mid-race? kinda realistic,lol, spesh seein as we do like hundreds of drags in a row without any kind of maintenance work done. pretty sturdy cars,lol. just a thought.

Hey luke! I just keep accepting every challenge to tell you the truth! haha… I had half that many losses a couple weeks ago. I woke up yesterday to 12 challenges, then had an additional 20+ challenges during the day along with the 20 I sent out… I believe I jumped 112 on the vdi just today! haha

Yeah we really need a viper killer, i think my VDI is actually suffering because when i random challenge i get paired with the people that don’t play as often and when viper people hit random challenge they get paired with other 900hp vipers, so i can challenge people to my limit, but people don’t really challenge me

You can always decide to challenge people with a high VDI, which indicates that they are fairly active. I accept all of the challenges I get (a lot of vipers) and my VDI still goes up because I am more active

The Skunk….

Yeah, I’m a guy lol. The 396 can be bored out .030” over along with the stock stroke crank, makes a 402ci. A 454 crank can be ground down to fit the 396 block which’ll bring the cubes up to a 434ci or something like that. A 427ci is a 454 block with the 396 crank in it, so in “essence,” the 454 is a “stroker” motor straight from GM lol. A 454 block and be bored and stroked up to 496 cubes, anything more then that and the piston walls would be too thin. To make bigger cubes requires a block with a taller deck height which will make the cam sit higher in the block which in turn allows the use of a bigger stroke crank, 4 1/2”, 4 3/4” respectively.

you know i just have to say that after installing the new cams for my camaro i have been having the worst run of luck (i know they have nothing to do with it but it’s still got me thinking). before the cams i had 21 more wins than losses (my record has never been that great). now, i have 10 more losses than wins! and this is against cars that are evenly matched or that i am vastly superior to.

i like my camaro. now that i have the power/weight ratio to actually compete evenly with a maxed BMW, they don’t pop up any more because i have 87 more horse. grrrr!

WTH!!!!!!!!! vdream?! the Mustang GT is the WORST car to buy! how do u not have CARBON FIBER DOORS to reduce the weight! and the SUPER CHARGER says i’ll get 515hq but when i install it it only gives me 445?! WTH!!!! how come i can’t hold on to 2 cars? i gave up my neon for a bull* mustang! u definitely need more parts! NOT SATISFIED @ ALL!
