We’re very proud to announce our brand new vDream Merch Store on Zazzle!

Just wanted to mention that the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb was run earlier this week, with nobody besting Nobuhiro Tajima’s 2007 record in the unlimited class. A great race in Colorado, the “Race to the Clouds” is a must see for any Colorado Springs/Denver resident.

It also reminded me of the awesome 1990 film short “Climb Dance”. Check out the stuff below: Climb Dance, this year’s Ford Fiesta, and Tajima’s Suzuki Escudo record holder.

July 16, 2009 Pint-sized Aston Cygnet?

Aston Martin takes the Toyota iQ (soon to be Scion iQ here in the states) and offers it as an “accessory” to their higher models. From Jalopnik, the first image is a photo-rendered version of what it might look like, while the second images is the car in clay form.

Aston Martin found out that a large percentage of Aston owners owned a “daily driver” car similar to that of Mercedes’ Smart ForTwo. So they figured they would offer this mini-Aston as an optional package along with a DB9, DBS, Vanquish, Vantage purchase – called the Cygnet.

Already a fan of the iQ (I live in San Francisco, what do you expect), I’m eager to see what kind of creature-comforts they offer in this little Cygnet, and eager to see if they’ll ever offer it as a standalone model.

We hit another huge milestone today, 10K users on our newest baby, Bebo! The Bebo community has been growing very quickly since launch and Bebo users seem to have fondly embraced vDream on their network.

I’d like to send out a special thanks to Scott V, Brooks D, and Jed ‘Papa Doc’, a.k.a. “The Bebo Street Team”, for promoting vDream on Bebo and playing a crucial role in getting us to the 10K users mark. The three of you have more than earned your vDream User Recognition Trophies!
