About Us
What is vDream?
The idea of vDream is more than a social network for car enthusiasts, it's more than a simple MMORPG style car game, it's more than a way to express yourself - vDream is all of these put together and more. Our vDream is to bring car enthusiasts from all corners together to discuss the goings-on of the automotive industry, to play games together, and to give people a glimpse inside their minds (and garages). The whole purpose of the game aspect is to fill a void on the internet and in gaming, of a simulation to mimic the true automotive aftermarket industry. There are video games out there that allow you to throw on a few aftermarket parts onto a car and see it visually, but they are always extremely limited. We don't want to be limited. If something is available for purchase in the real world, we want it to be available on vDream.
The Team:
Lijen is the proud owner of a 1996 Mercury Villager (aqua-marine blue). vDream is a child of his brain, and he is the product development and engineering lead for vDream. He loves toying with web 2.0 technologies and innovated web interfaces, and when he's not programming he can be found carting his friends around in his extremely high-performance soccer mom vehicle.
Jason is vDream's ideal user. He is a true car enthusiast and video gamer - both of which are the main parts of vDream. He is the master of the database, and the manager of the vDream artistic team. His goal for vDream is to bring together the arch-rivals of car enthusiasts - the Domestic Buff, the Japanese Import Buff, and the Euro Buff. Jason used to own a DC4 Acura Integra GS with a laundry list of aftermarket parts. Today he owns an 06 Scion xB, and loves getting 35 mpg. He also takes the vDream mascot EG6 Honda Civic Hatchback (Leah) to Infineon Raceway in Sonoma for NASA track events.
Naveen is a proud car lover and the brain behind the business savvy of vDream. As a serial entrepreneur and car enthusiast, he used to own the crowd favorite E46 BMW M3. Today though, he rolls around in even more luxury and style in the car-of-the-year, a brand new Audi R8.
